Revival de la Simplex, une version monolinéaire de la Libra.

A speedrun of a revival

I needed the Simplex font for the headings of my DNSEP research article. Since no digital version was available, I only had a few hours to devote to drawing a revival.

An excerpt from a specimen by the Amsterdam type foundry (shown above) and documented uses listed on Fonts In Use (examples below) were used as references. The design of the uppercase letters is not based on any specific source.

The character set consists of the minimum required glyphs, namely :
